Air Quality Monitoring System (AQMS) with Smart Dashboard

This project is conceived on the same model and the domain of the smart dashboard with Air Quality Monitoring System. The project monitoring Dust particle, Smoke, Nitrogen, Chlorine, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, etc .

Salient Features

Air Quality Monitoring System (AQMS) is designed and developed as a generic system for monitoring Air Quality based on two major technologies Internet-of-Things (IoT) and Machine Learning/Deep Learning. Various types of air quality sensors are used to measure multiple pollutants in the air such as Dust Particles, Smoke, Fuel Vapor, Industrial Waste, Nitrogen, Chlorine, Carbon Dioxide, Carbon Monoxide, etc. AQMS consists of a series of hardware products and a complete suite of software applications including a data acquisition module, cloud development module, and machine / deep learning module to develop a smart dashboard.

Analysis of various pollutants

Location identification of sensitive location in terms of pollutants

Identification of daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal patterns of pollutants at any location

Smart dashboard based on machine / deep learning techniques

Alert notifications to concerned authorities for proactive measures.

Deployment

1

IoT Monitoring Stations

Ten AQMS IoT Monitoring Stations are deployed in the city of Karachi to test run the product.

2

Sindh Environment Protection Agency (SEPA)

The Sindh Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) was brought on board to identify the key locations in the city.

3

Reporting Mechanism

AQMS IoT Monitoring Stations have collected three months data from the stated locations and used machine / deep learning techniques to do forecasting some selected parameters.
